HERMISTON - Recitation of the Rosary for Beatrice Jane "Bea" Ryan Trukositz will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston. A memorial mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.

Mrs. Trukositz, 82, of Hermiston, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at her home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1921, at Aberdeen, S.D., to Richard Edward and Mary Hurley Ryan.

She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Lewiston, Idaho, on Nov. 27, 1942.

On July 24, 1944, she married Stephen John Trukositz at Aberdeen, S.D.

She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston from 1954 until 1979.

She was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church and of Catholic Daughters of America.

Her husband, Stephen, died in 1996.

Survivors include her children, sons, Stephen of Umatilla, David of Hanau, Germany, and Richard of Hermiston; daughters, Elizabeth of Portland, and Mary of Tacoma, Wash.; three grandsons, one great-grandson; and sisters, Ellen Ervin of Mesa, Ariz., and Elizabeth Yurcek of Minnetonka, Minn.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
