Oct. 1, 1921-Feb. 15, 2007

PAYETTE, Idaho - Charles Dee Moore, who was elected to the Washington and Oregon Skeetshooting Hall of Fame, died Feb. 15, 2007, in Payette. He was 85.

A funeral service was held Saturday.

Mr. Moore was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Pendleton to Charles and Martha Moore.

He served six years in the Navy and was on the USS Nevada during Pear Harbor.

He graduated from the University of Illinois, where he met his wife of 60 years, Martha (Pat) Ellen Holloway.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, three children, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
