PORTLAND - Ordained minister Dean A. Clark, 48, of Pendleton and Portland, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Providence Medical Center.

At his request, no services will be held.

He was born Aug. 16, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, to John and Phyllis Clark. He grew up in Pendleton and Portland where he graduated from Parkrose Senior High.

After a serious motorcycle accident, Mr. Clark became an ordained minister. He enjoyed music, art and poetry.

He is survived by sister Rosemarie Bartley of Pendleton and Susan Overly of Portland; brother Bruce Clark of Pendleton; three nieces; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew.
