HERMISTON - A graveside service for Georgeann Perry will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday the Hermiston Cemetery.

Mrs. Perry, 71, formerly of Hermiston, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs, Idaho.

She was born March 6, 1931, at Ringling, Okla., to Elmer and Ruby Wilmoth Wimpy. She was raised in Oklahoma and lived there until the early 1960s when she moved to California. She lived in California for 12 years before moving to Portland and later to Pasco. In 1980, she moved to Hermiston where she lived until May 1999 when she moved to Soda Springs to be near family.

She was a member of the Hermiston First Christian Church.

Mrs. Perry enjoyed sewing, yard work and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Lonnie Perry in England; daughters, Diane Spittler of Uniontown, Pa., Mary Thompson of Bakersfield, Calif., and Lauri Perry of Soda Springs, Idaho; brothers, Elmer Ray Wimpy of Edmund, Okla., and Ron Davis of Lake Isabella, Calif.; sisters, Beth Leasher of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lorna Robinson of Kernville, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hiram Perry, died in 1993, and a daughter, Rhonda Dufur, died in 1986.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
