As of 8 a.m. today, there were 144 inmates in the Umatilla County Jail. Police booked at least 17 people in the jail since Friday morning.

Today's total also includes 15 Morrow County inmates (one since Friday morning) and four inmates from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

Also, there are 17 female inmates and 127 male inmates in the jail.

?Inmates with arrests for rape or sex abuse: 14

?Inmates with arrests for murder or manslaughter: 2

?Inmates with U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service holds: 9

?Fugitives from another state: 11

?And there are 24 inmates in the jail for parole violations and 32 for probation violations.
