IRRIGON - A celebration of life gathering for Marianne "Dusty" Boles will be held at 1 p.m. on her birthday, October 10, 2004, at her home in Irrigon.
Mrs. Boles, 70, of Irrigon, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston.
She was born Oct, 10, 1933 at Westwood, Calif., to Henry and Olive Brisco.
She was raised in California before moving to Nyssa, Ore., and Ontario, Ore., where she attended schools. She attended Treasure Valley Community College before going to work as a receptionist for Judge Bellows where she worked for several years.
She has lived at Irrigon the last 23 years.
She had been employed as a cook at Bakes for several years and was a former member of the Irrigon Lions Club.
Mrs. Boles enjoyed gardening, roses, watching TV, listening to country music, family barbecues, rock hounding, and loved socializing.
Survivors include her sons, Micheal Brisco of Irrigon, David Brisco and his wife, Clare, of Camas, Wash., and Gary Slabaugh of Vancouver, Wash.; daughter, Laura Bergmier of Boise; sister, Dorothy Barker of Kenai, Alaska; and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. Jack Boles; her parents; and her sister: Bonita Brisco.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
