HERMISTON - Michael James Marcott, 60, of Hermiston, a former longtime resident of Dallas, Ore., died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at Good Samaritan Center in Hermiston.

Private cremation was held earlier.

Mr. Marcott was born June 17, 1944, at Silverton, to Adlore and Florence Crick Marcott. He was raised at Dallas, Ore., and lived there for 30 years, then moved to Klamath Falls where he lived for several years before coming to Hermiston.

He had been employed as a truck driver.

He was a member of Eagles Lodge and liked to play cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother, Don Pool, and by a sister. Sandy Pomeroy.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Marcott of Dallas, Ore,; a brother, David Marcott of Hermiston; and a sister, Linda Quevedo of Kingman, Ariz.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
