Air Force Airman Katie J. Todd has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, she studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
She earned distinction as an honor graduate.
She is a 2004 graduate of Weston-McEwen High School and the daughter of Larry Todd of Athena.
Army Pvt. Cody C. Lightburn has graduated from the Power-Generation Equipment Repairer Advanced Individual Training (AIT) course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md.
The course is designed to train soldiers to perform unit, direct support or general support maintenance functions on power-generation equipment. This includes repair and overhauling internal combustion engines, tactical utility, precise power generation sets, and other associated equipment.
He is the son of Paula K. Wakerlig of Pendleton.
