PENDLETON - Burnice M. Parsons, 93, of Hermiston died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at Willowbrook Terrace in Pendleton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Burial will follow at noon at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.

Mrs. Parsons was born June 11, 1915, in Potlatch, Idaho, to Henry and Myrtie Sennett Bull. She was raised and attended school in Potlatch. She married Berle Parsons in 1946 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The Parsons lived in Walla Walla from 1955 until 1979, when they moved to Hermiston. They moved to Milton-Freewater in 1983, and returned to Hermiston in 2004.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, embroidery, and gardening.

Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband, Berle Parsons of Hermiston; son Roger Parsons of Hermiston; daughters Joyce Kirby of Shelton, Wash., and Janice Parsons of Spanaway, Wash.; sister Wanda Bull of Moscow, Idaho; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
