Carrie Helen (Bremner) Wilcox

HERMISTON - Carrie Helen (Bremner) Wilcox, 91, of Hermiston died Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Rose Arbor in Hermiston. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at the Echo Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilcox was born April 2, 1917, in Republic, Wash., to James and Lena (Johnson) Bremner. She graduated from Republic High School. In 1939 she married Morris Wilcox of Malo, Wash. In 1941 they moved to Echo, where she resided until 2006.

She worked at Echo Bank as a relief teller and later at U.S. Bank. She also was a homemaker.

Mrs. Wilcox is survived by daughters Elaine Myers of Hermiston and Nancy Gifford of Portland; sister Evie Huett of Spokane; seven grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Morris in 1971.
