RICHLAND, Wash. - Eva Lucille Gaede, 76, of Pendleton died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. A family gathering will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 at Woodland Park in Kalispell, Mont. Disposition was by cremation.
Mrs. Gaede was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Harlem, Mont., near Kalispell to James and Edna McDonald. She was raised in Kalispell and attended school there. She moved to Hermiston in 1960 and live there for many years. She lived in Pendleton for the past nine years. She was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include her life companion, Richard Haney of Pendleton; sons Ron and Marion Sager, both of Hermiston, Carl Sager of Boardman and Lee Gaede of Portland; daughters Cindy Shaw and Pat Gaede, both of Pendleton, and Tina Gaede of Kennewick, Wash.; brother James McDonald of Tacoma, Wash.; sister Jeannette McDonald of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands Manley Gaede and Marion Sager Sr.; sister Doris McDonald; and brother George McDonald.
Memorial contributions may be made to a local charity of the donor's choice.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
