ENID, Okla. - Philip Pesicka, 49, of Enid, Okla., died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Okla. A funeral service for will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 20 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Mr. Pesicka was born Jan. 17, 1960, in South Dakota to Adolph J. and Faye Scott Pesicka. He served in the Air Force for 22 years as a pilot and earned the rank of lieutenant colonel. He also served two years as a LSI contractor. He married Ronda Lawrence in 1981 in Hermiston.

He worked at Vance Air Force Base as a flight simulator operator.

Mr. Pesicka is survived by his wife, Ronda; children Bradley Pesicka, Steven Pesicka, Aaron Pesicka and Amanda Pesicka; sisters Jeanne Pesicka, Barbara Elseworth, Margaret Jorgenson, Carol Kafader and Arlene Pesicka; and brothers Ted Pesicka and Greg Pesicka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Robert Pesicka.
