PENDLETON - Robert G. Hoeft, 81, of Pilot Rock died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at a Pendleton care facility. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at Skyview Cemetery in Pendleton.
Mr. Hoeft was born Nov. 1, 1927, in Pendleton to Arnold and Mildred (Fletcher) Hoeft. He graduated from Pilot Rock High School in 1946. He married Lillian A. Cross in 1950; she preceded him in death. He married Morley J. Anderson in 1995.
He worked on the family ranch on Yellowjacket Road near Pilot Rock, where he lived his entire life.
Survivors include his wife, Morley Hoeft; daughters Toni Hamby and Bonnie Key; son Clifford Hoeft; stepdaughter Nancy Lankford; stepsons Paul and Eric Anderson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many Hoeft and Fletcher cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lillian Hoeft; and brother Clifford Hoeft.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop.
