WALLA WALLA - Teddy W. "Ted" Gallaway, 55, of Weston died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18 at the Weston Community Hall in Weston.
Mr. Gallaway was born Jan. 11, 1954, in Pendleton to Stanley and Vera Deardorff Gallaway. He was raised in Eastern Oregon, attended elementary school in Milton-Freewater and graduated from Weston High School.
In 1980 he married Diane Kraft in Reno, Nev. At the time of his death, he was employed by Smith Frozen Foods, and had worked there for 34 years.
Mr. Gallaway is survived by his wife, Diane Gallaway at the home; stepdaughter Jenny Hagey of College Place, Wash.; brothers Will Gallaway and Jim Sams, both of Weston; sisters Daisy Cisneros and Leona Paredes, both of Weston, Kathleen Zaragoza of Salem, Lori Fields of Port Townsend, Wash., and Mary Ann Hernandez and Carol Lee Hernandez, both of Pendleton; mother Vera Sams of Weston; stepmother Jackie Gallaway of Pendleton; stepbrother Clinton Sams of Gresham; stepsisters Lonita Howe of Whidbey Island, Wash., and Joanne Roland of Pendleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and brother Carl Gallaway.
