UMATILLA - A graveside funeral service Patrick M. "Pat" Hussey was held today at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Umatilla.

Mr. Hussey, 55, of Umatilla, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at his home.

He was born Aug. 28, 1949, at Wendell, Idaho, to Mervin and Bertha Barga Hussey. He was raised and attended schools in Idaho until the 11th grade, when he moved to Seattle, where he graduated from high school. He then joined the Army and served in Korea.

He went to trade school and became an electronics technician, then worked for Motorola in Aberdeen, Wash., and Umatilla. He then owned his own repair business for several years in Umatilla before going to work for Clackamas Communications for five years.

Mr. Hussey returned to Umatilla in 1995. He was a member of the Irrigon Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.

Survivors include brothers, Jack Hussey of Irrigon and Buck Hussey of Cascade Locks; sisters, Margie Johnson and Shirley Miller, both of Yakima; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece. Mr. Hussey was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia McNeill.
