Miscellaneous

?A Pendleton man early Saturday morning reported taking four tries to call 9-1-1 so someone would help him find his glasses.

According to the Pendleton police blotter, the call came in Saturday at 12:55 a.m. The man said he had fallen and lost his glasses. He also said he couldn't use the phone and "it took him four times to call 9-1-1." The man said he just wanted help finding the glasses.

The man "sounded very intoxicated," the report on the blotter said. There was no indication police helped the man find his glasses.

?A Pendleton woman Sunday evening complained her neighbors left a stinking bucket of fish next to her fence.

" ... the smell is horrible," she stated to dispatch. The woman also said she has left notes on the neighbor's door, but no one has responded. She asked for an officer to contact her.
