Miscellaneous

At 11:09 p.m. Friday, the Pendleton Taco Bell reported another bomb threat. The report said it was a "male caller stating there was a bomb set to go off." Everyone was evacuated from the eatery.

At around 1:43 p.m. Saturday, two motorcycles crashed near Milepost 3 on Highway 204. Carlton Evans Moore, of Walla Walla, was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle, when it collided with the rear tire of a Yamaha driven by Brad Louis Zaro, of College Place. Both men were transported to St. Mary Medical Center. Zaro was treated for moderate injuries but Moore was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with sever injuries.

The highway was closed for about three and a half hours.

The police report also said "alcohol appears to have been a factor in the collision."
