12:16 a.m. - A man driving on Highway 74 near Ione called the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to report he saw possible poachers spotlighting on a farmer’s property within 100 yards of the road. Sheriff’s deputies were unable to locate any suspects.

3:32 a.m. - A Heppner resident reported the theft of $1,200 in cash from the center console of her husband’s pickup while parked outside their Northwest Jones Street home. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy took a theft report.

7:21 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Heppner ambulance responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 74 between Lexington and Heppner. The driver was taken to Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner for treatment.

8:00 a.m. - Three bags of recyclable cans were stolen from the front porch of a house on Northwest Gale Street, Heppner.

9:41 a.m. - A resident of Northeast Third Street, Irrigon, reported hearing gunshots in the area. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies were unable to locate a shooter.

10:38 a.m. - Hermiston police were called to Goodwill, 325 W. Theater Lane, after a man hit the mother of his children during a domestic dispute over custody and then left the scene.

11:07 a.m. - A woman came into the Hermiston police station to report that someone entered her locked vehicle during the night and left a button that looks like it belongs to a Navy pea coat on the front seat, and a handicap placard on the front windshield. Nothing was reported missing or damaged.

11:22 a.m. - A resident of West Hemlock Avenue, Hermiston, reported receiving a phone call stating that they were going to rob her and to leave her house.

11:34 a.m. - Fraud/forgery was reported at a rental property on South Main Street.

12:22 p.m. - Pendleton police received a burglary report from a location on Southeast Court Avenue.

3:54 p.m. - A postal employee shared some “mail concerns” with a Pilot Rock police officer.

7:37 p.m. - A vehicle was reported abandoned with a punched ignition column and all the dash lights on by a resident of West Jennie Avenue, Hermiston.

8:16 p.m. - Hermiston police were called to a reported fight at a business on North First Street.

10:01 p.m. - Pendleton police investigated an assault reported on Despain Gulch Road.

11:53 p.m. - A resident of the 200 block of Balm Street, Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of a gun from his home.


•Oregon State Police arrested Joshua Lee Sheets, 34, Portland, for possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tucker James Amos, 26, Irrigon, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after he was spotted pushing a four-wheeler out of a driveway at Southeast Eleventh Street and Southeast Idaho Avenue in Irrigon.

•Pendleton police arrested Peter Henry Rachor, 35, Weston, on aggravated domestic violence charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation after a domestic disturbance at Phantom Cycles, 1306 S.E. Court Ave.

•Anthony Harold Hahn, 43, address not provided, was arrested by Oregon State Police for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol), reckless driving and recklessly endangering another after a Milton-Freewater policeman requested assistance following a crash with a drunk driving suspect he was holding at gunpoint. Both Hahn’s and the officer’s vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
