8:07 a.m. - Oregon State Police responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed through the fence at the intersection of Bridge and Powerline roads, Hermiston. The vehicle was gone by the time police arrived and there were no witnesses. The property owner and neighbors repaired the fence to keep cows from escaping.
9:09 a.m. - A Hermiston resident asked to speak to an officer about a scam on Facebook. The caller said someone was selling a dog, and the seller wanted her to go to the Walmart and send $200.
9:35 a.m. - A resident on East Main Street, Irrigon, complained about her neighbor’s dog that climbs the 6-foot-tall fence, gets into her yard and drinks the water for her dogs. The caller said the trouble-making dog had puppies and she cleaned up after the dog.
10:40 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 report of domestic violence on North Franklin Street, Weston.
3:15 p.m. - A member of the Canal Neighborhood Watch on East Bridgitte Avenue, Hermiston, reported the theft of mail.
9:41 p.m. - The driver of a Kia Spectra heading north on Highway 11 near milepost 11 struck a pedestrian who stumbled into the road. The 53-year-old man suffered minor injuries, and an ambulance took him to St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton.
10:33 p.m. - An anonymous caller asked Hermiston police to send officers to a residence on West Orchard Avenue where the tenant was playing loud music.
•Pendleton police arrested Chance Lee Gibbs, 34, for first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Clinton Robert Peterson, 31, of Milton-Freewater, for misdemeanor fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
•Pendleton police arrested Larry Dale Bush, 54, of Umatilla, for felony fleeing, driving while suspended/revoked and possession of methamphetamine.
