12:20 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a small black car traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 near Hermiston, but deputies were unable to locate the wrong-way driver.

7:16 a.m. - Residents of Cain Lane, Irrigon, found what they believed was methamphetamine or cocaine in their driveway. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded.

7:23 a.m. - Burglary was reported by a resident of East Browning Avenue, Hermiston.

7:25 a.m. - A vehicle break-in was reported on Southeast Court Avenue, Pendleton.

8:42 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported assault at Hat Rock Campground, 82280 Hat Rock Road, Umatilla.

9:12 a.m. - A resident of Lakeview Court, Heppner, asked for contact from a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy because the neighbor’s husky was in her fish pond again.

9:32 a.m. - Victory Lighthouse Church, 1940 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston, reported a theft.

11:49 a.m. - A second assault was reported to Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies, this time on East Bruce Street, Weston.

2:49 p.m. - A resident of South Cabana Road, Hermiston, reported a theft.

3:37 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of possible child abuse/neglect.

3:59 p.m.- Hermiston police received a call about drug activity on West Sunland Avenue.

4:41 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office was called after a Mid Columbia school bus hit and damaged a resident’s fence on Diagonal Road, Hermiston. There were no injuries. The sheriff’s office referred the call to another law enforcement agency.

5:23 p.m. - A resident of Highway 339, Milton-Freewater, reported fraud.

6:37 p.m. - A report of shots fired came in to the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office from Forest Service 54 Road near Pilot Rock.

7:06 p.m. - Hermiston police received a theft report from a residence on East Gladys Avenue.

7:18 p.m. - A resident of Northeast Madrona Drive, Hermiston, called Hermiston police after a teenager walked through their house, but refused to speak to the homeowners.

11:46 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of shots fired near Pioneer Park, 400 N.W. Despain Ave., but officers didn’t locate a shooter.

12:17 a.m. - A rash of false burglary alarms were reported in Pendleton over a 40-minute span, at Sunridge Middle School on Southwest Runnion Avenue; Farm Equipment Headquarters on Airport Road; Les Schwab Tires on Southwest 32nd Place (twice); MACDON on Airport Road; the Umatilla County Courthouse on Southeast Fourth Street; and Ron Banks Courier Service on Westgate.

Wednesday

•Pendleton police arrested Bobby D. Christensen, 33, of Hermiston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Thursday

•Oregon State Police arrested Benjamin Tycin Rasmussen, 31, of Pendleton, for DUII (controlled substances/inhalants).

•OSP also arrested Sergio Taboada Salinas, 38, of Umatilla, for DUII (alcohol) and driving while suspended/revoked.
