12:59 a.m. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Southeast Utah Avenue, Irrigon, for a young man who was “high-tempered and punching walls.” The young man and the father were separated for the night.

8:05 a.m. - A Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy was called to the Comfort Inn & Suites, 77514 S. Highway 207, Hermiston, for a complaint about a homeless man in the parking lot.

8:34 a.m. - A home south of the storage units on Strebin Farms on East Oregon Lane, Umatilla, was broken into, the farm’s owner reported. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy took a report.

9:30 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police and Boardman fire and ambulance personnel responded to a semi rollover accident on westbound Interstate 84 near Boardman.

10:26 a.m. - A resident of Myrick and Adams roads reported theft. A Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy took a report.

11:31 a.m. - An aggressive Doberman tearing apart the neighbor’s trash on Southeast Fourth Street, Irrigon, prompted a call to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office. The caller said it was an ongoing problem and the dog had tried to bite deputies before. The dog’s owner told deputies he was trying to get rid of the dog, as it had been causing him problems.

12:41 p.m. - Greenwood Resources, 73669 Homestead Lane, Boardman, reported a theft to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Department.

1:01 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about a woman breaking into a garage on a property on Joy Lane, Hemriston.

3:22 p.m. - A resident of Northwest Riverside Avenue, Heppner, complained about two pit bull dogs fighting near the Willow Creek Water Park. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy discovered the dogs were just playing, and had returned to their respective yards.

5:28 p.m .- Theft was reported by a resident of Southwest Ninth Street, Hermiston.

11:19 p.m. - Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla notified the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office of a person who came into the emergency room with a dog bite.

12:03 a.m. - Stanfield police were called to the Main Street Market, 210 S. Main St., for a reported assault.

12:36 a.m. - Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies received a report of aggressive dogs at large near Morgan Lane and Glemm Road, Hermiston. Deputies were unable to locate the dogs.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Department arrested Richard Andrew Miller, 29, of Hermiston, on charges of aggravated fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and disorderly conduct after a caller said he was punching a woman in the yard of a house on Frontage Lane, Hermiston. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, on $15,000 bond.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jason Dale Snow, 30, of Stanfield, for possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation, both felonies, and misdemeanor charges of contempt of court and driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance).

•Pendleton police arrested Sam D. Witty, 48, of La Grande, for felony driving while suspended.

•Omar Mosqueda Camacho, 21, of Yakima, Wash., was arrested by Hermiston police on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, and felon in possession of a weapon.
