8:27 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of three cars at an empty lot at the end of Garrison Lane, Boardman. Deputies arrived and gave three people citations for having open containers of alcohol.
1:28 p.m. - A resident on Northeast Chase Street, Heppner, reported finding a deer head on a roof. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office contacted the property owner, who said he was missing a deer head and would call back if this deer head was not the one was looking for.
1:29 a.m. - Hermiston police responded to a disturbance on the 100 block of East Main Street. Hermiston police handled two more disturbance call this day, the second at 1:19 p.m. on the 1300 block of Southwest Sage Drive and then at 10:06 p.m. on the first block of West Cedar Drive.
3:55 p.m. - An Irrigon resident on Southwest Third Street reported a three-legged goat was in her yard. The goat left before Morrow County sheriff’s deputies arrived.
6:57 p.m. - A caller on Gun Club Lane, Boardman, reported neighbors have a large fire. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded and found people had a bonfire going.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Frank Norman Lynn II, 55, of Pendleton, for misdemeanor domestic abuse and violation of a restraining order.
•Oregon State Police arrested Zina Alexei Afonin, 49, of Portland, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, offensive littering and on a warrant.
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Steven Ray Farrens, 46, of Walla Walla, for misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, harassment, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, felony methamphetamine possession and second-degree disorderly conduct. Milton-Freewater police on Friday and Saturday made eight arrests in all, including five people on local or area warrants.
•Umatilla police arrested Amanda Lynn Clawson, 36, of Hermiston, for felony probation violation, unauthorized use of a vehicle, second-degree trespass and interfering with a police officer.
•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Israel Angel Martinez, 22, on a warrant for failure to appear and for first-degree of theft (theft of a firearm), theft by receiving and DUII.
•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joran Leinback, 23, for misdemeanor fourth-degree assault. •Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Nelson Chas John, 47, of Pendleton, for misdemeanor assault and felony domestic abuse.
•Pendleton police arrested Denise Danielle Caswell, 37, of Pendleton, for DUII.
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Sterling Scott Sandberg, 21, for fourth-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
