7:33 a.m. - A resident on Montana Lane, Irrigon, complained about the herd of cows that break out and get into her yard.

8 a.m. - Hermiston police responded to the 500 block of Northwest Seventh Street on a theft complaint. This was the first of four theft calls the department handled during the day. The second was at 10:05 a.m. on the 700 block of West Division Avenue, the third was at 10:49 a.m. on the 600 block of South First Street and the fourth was at 2:25 p.m. on the 1000 block of Southwest 11th Street.

9:14 a.m. - Pendleton police took a theft report at the marijuana store Kind Leaf Pendleton, 1733 S.W. Court Ave.

9:26 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report for burglary and the theft of jewelry and medications at a home on Steagall Road, Irrigon.

11:01 a.m. - A caller at Southridge Apartments, Umatilla, asked police to deal with the car that someone abandoned there more than a year ago.

11:37 a.m. - Hermiston police responded to a burglary on the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue.

5:16 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report for the theft of a gun from a residence on West College Street, Weston.

8:09 p.m. - Law enforcement and emergency services in Morrow County responded to a residence on Southeast Greenwood Street for a man beating his girlfriend.

8:24 p.m. - A 911 caller on Tutuilla Creek Road, Pendleton, reported her mother’s boyfriend broke in the door.

9:07 p.m. - Pendleton police took a report for the theft of a light blue 2007 Kia Spectra. The owner of the car reported loaning it to a man three days earlier, and he would not return calls not did he return the car.

•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Juan Carlos Ceja Jr., 31, for felony methamphetamine possession and Ashley Lew Mitcham, 24, on a warrant and for felony methamphetamine possession.

•Pendleton police arrested Ryan Scott Sullivan, 32, of Pendleton, for violating parole, felony possession of meth and heroin and felon in possession of a weapon, which is a misdemeanor.
