4:37 a.m. - Pendleton police looked for a prowler in the area of Southeast Court Place and 18th Street but did not find a suspect.
2:51 p.m. - A Hermiston resident on Southwest Sandy Drive asked for an officer to call her about her ex coming to her house in violation of a restraining order. She said she was afraid he would come back.
4:11 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about illegal dumping on Shaw Road near McKay Reservoir south of Pendleton.
6:39 p.m. - Hermiston police took a report for a vehicle theft on Southwest Ninth Street.
12:15 a.m. - Pendleton police responded to a fight at Crabby’s Underground Saloon, 228 S. Main St., Pendleton.
10:26 a.m. - Umatilla police responded to a fight at a residence on El Monte Street.
10:56 a.m. - Oregon State Police responded to Interstate 84 near milepost 210, Pendleton, where a green Ford pickup traveled across the freeway’s lanes heading west in the eastbound side and crashed into a state-owned fence. The engine was cold and no one was at the scene by the time police got there. The crash is under investigation.
1:19 p.m. - Pendleton police took a report for criminal mischief at Til Taylor Park, 700 S.E. Dorion Ave.
2:49 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of possible child abuse or neglect.
3:50 p.m. - Umatilla police took a report for criminal mischief at Sam’s Stop and Shop, 131 Sixth St.
4:56 p.m. - Oregon State Police responded to Columbia Outdoor Sports, 395 E. Main St., Hermiston, after Jesse L. Hart, 35, of Umatilla, tried to buy a gun. State police reported its background check system flagged Hart because he is on probation and has multiple convictions for misdemeanor domestic violence crimes. State police notified Hart’s probation officer. Hart faces possible charges for unlawful purchase of a firearm, false swearing and providing false information in connection with the transfer of a firearm.
10:43 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a prowler at Eastern Oregon Gymnastics, 1819 Westgate, but an officer did not see anyone suspicious.
4:26 p.m. - Pendleton police received an emergency report of an assault on Southwest 40th Street.
5:47 p.m. - A 911 caller reported an assault and a female bleeding from her hand at the laundromat at 415 S.E. Fourth St., Pendleton.
9:53 p.m. - A caller reported a prowler on Northeast Fourth Street, Hermiston, but police did not find any suspects.
5:57 a.m. - Hermiston police took a report for a burglary on the 1500 block of Northeast 10th Street.
11:09 a.m. - Two adults and two young children suffered non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 37 near milepost 11 north of Pendleton. Oregon State Police cited the driver, a 29-year-old woman from Weston, for not having a driver’s license.
4:16 p.m. - People smoking outside the front door of Colts Cafe, 233 N. Main St., Heppner, drew a complaint to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office. The caller was concerned this violates the smoke-free requirements.
4:58 p.m. - Staff at the Conoco station, 419 S. Main St., Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of the donation jar.
5:37 p.m. - A man told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office he is having friends take care of his cat at his ex-wife’s house on Southeast Gilmore Street, Heppner, but he is concerned about the cat because of the cold and a restraining order prohibits him from going to the home.
8:12 p.m. - Emergency services responded to the eastbound side of Interstate 84 near milepost 187 for a gold Honda Civic that caught fire. The driver, David Lara III, 23, of Echo, escaped unharmed, but the fire fully engulfed the car before firefighters arrived.
9:44 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on West Ballou Road. Milton-Freewater, after the 911 caller’s mother assaulted him and his girlfriend with a cane.
•Oregon State Police arrested a 17-year-old Milton-Freewater boy for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).
•Oregon State Police arrested Tyler Scott Jessen, 29, of Pilot Rock, for DUII (controlled substances).
•Pendleton police arrested Jason Allen Leis, 34, of Pendleton, for domestic violence misdemeanor assault.
•Hermiston police arrested Tamara Kay Hurse, 45, of Pendleton, for felony methamphetamine possession and on a warrant for failure to appear.
