MONDAY

•Someone stole several metal bars for forming concrete from the 900 block of South Main Street, a caller told Pendleton police at 10:58 a.m. He said the metal was not worth anything and requested extra patrols in the area.

•A Weston area resident told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office at 11:34 a.m. someone in Europe charged more than $1,000 to her debit card. She said she notified her bank, which asked for a police report. A deputy talked to her and took a report.

•A Milton-Freewater resident told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office at 6:13 p.m. someone destroyed a screen on her window near 53500 West Ferndale Road, and she has a security camera that may have a picture of the culprit.

•A fraudster tried to lure a Pendleton man into sending $299 worth of money cards, the man told police at 7:14 p.m. He said a male claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House said he won money, but would need to send the cards to get his prize. An officer told the man it was a scam and encouraged him not to continue speaking with the caller.

•A caller at 11:57 p.m. told Weston police a man kicked her mother several times at his residence near West Pomeroy and North Railroad streets, Weston. She said her mother got away and went to a relative’s residence in Milton-Freewater. She also gave the name of the alleged assailant.

•Pendleton police arrested Monica Angel Grant, 35, of Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Scott Alan Maker, 24, of Pendleton, for felony domestic violence.

•Umatilla police arrested Christopher Jon Delfs, 34, Umatilla, for felony domestic violence and menacing.
