6:28 a.m. - A caller at A.C. Houghton Elementary School, 1105 N. Main Ave., Irrigon, reported a poodle-type dog attacked her dog and another dog. The caller said the owner of the poodle lives across from the school on Northeast 10th Street and watched what happened.
7:32 a.m. - Law enforcement moved two mules that were in the middle of Kirk Road, Weston.
10:43 a.m. - A man reported someone in Irrigon on northwest Tumbleweed Boulevard pointed a pellet gun at his dog. He said the yelled at the male with the gun, who ran back into a house.
11:01 a.m. - Union Pacific Railroad reported it was working on crossing arms at West Coe Avenue and South Sherman Street, Stanfield.
1:26 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported a burglary at his home on the 1000 block of Southwest 11th Street and the theft of his medications.
2:19 p.m. - Pendleton police looked into a harassment report at Pendleton High School.
4:42 p.m. - Staff at Homestead Youth & Family Services, 816 S.E. 15th St., Pendleton, reported an assault at the facility.
5:56 p.m. - Law enforcement in Morrow County received a report of possible neglect of a litter of puppies on Kunze Lane, Boardman. The caller reported two puppies died and others don’t look healthy. He also said the “dead dogs were stacked like chord wood” at the site.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Wauker Taylor Tate, 21, of Pendleton, for domestic abuse, assault and menacing, all misdemeanors.
•Pendleton police arrested Sean Luis Hernandez, 32, of Pendleton, for felony possession of methamphetamine and trespassing.
•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shavon Lee Onne Newton, 20, of Irrigon, for unauthorized use of a vehicle. State court records show Newton began serving two years probation in July for committing the same crime in Gilliam County.
