TUESDAY

1:46 a.m. - An officer responded to West Angus Avenue and Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston, for a vehicle that drove through a fence and crashed.

7:31 a.m. - A Heppner resident reported a hound dog that lives on Linden Way broke the fence to her yard and she broke up a fight between her dog and the hound.

8:19 a.m. - An Irrigon man crashed his semitrailer at the intersection of highways 207 and 730. The driver told Oregon State Police it was raining and dark and he did not see the stop sign until it was too late to stop. The collision damaged the stop sign, a road sign and three concrete barriers. State police gave the man a citation for failure to drive within a lane.

8:27 a.m. - Multiple agencies responded to a fire in a garage on Ridge Crest Lane, Boardman.

10:37 a.m. - Pendleton police covered for Pilot Rock police while its officers dealt with an agitated student at Pilot Rock High School.

11:03 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report for burglary at Napa Auto Parts, 1124 N. Columbia St., Milton-Freewater.

11:20 a.m. - A caller asked Hermiston police what his options are after Motel 6, 655 N. First St., charged him extra for smoking in a non-smoking room. Yep, seems like the kind of thing you need police for.

1:21 p.m. - A caller reported the theft of a white Chevrolet Silverado with a crew cab from the parking lot of Walmart, 2203 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton. Police took a report.

1:52 p.m. - A Hermiston resident asked to speak to an officer about a female who is harassing and stalking her.

2:20 p.m. - Police tried to serve a stalking citation on Benjamin Lane, Hermiston.

3:22 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report that a white pickup with an extended cab sped in the school zone at Sunridge Middle School, 700 S.W. Runnion Ave., and nearly struck a sixth grader. The caller also was willing to sign a complaint against the driver.

4:27 p.m. - A Pilot Rock resident told police two people harassed him again about the charges he is pressing against another person.

9:17 p.m. - A caller reported someone shot her husband’s pickup at least once at the Pendleton Woolen Mills, 1307 S.E. Court Place, Pendleton.

9:51 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of possible child abuse.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Robert Edwin Cool, 31, for felony methamphetamine possession, felon in possession of a weapon and felony parole violation.
