MONDAY

7:12 a.m. - A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy used a shovel to extinguish a small fire at the Lexington grain elevator off Highway 207.

7:56 a.m. - A woman told Umatilla police someone was harassing her via telephone.

8:39 a.m. - A Hermiston resident reported the theft of her food benefits card.

10:58 a.m. - A caller at the quarry at Juniper Canyon Road and Little Juniper Lane north of Lexington reported someone shot our windows and possible the radiator of a loader. The caller also said this same vandalism happened twice before but this is the first time anyone reported it.

12:09 p.m. - A Hermiston landlord asked to speak to police about her tenants on Northeast Seventh Street because they have security cameras around the house and will not let her come inside for an inspection. This is a civil matter, not a criminal one, but that never stops anyone from asking police to change gears and serve as social workers.

12:37 p.m. - Pilot Rock police responded to a report of a burglary on Northeast Douglas Street.

12:51 p.m. - Two vehicles crashed into one another at the intersection of Highway 11 and Cobb Road, Milton-Freewater, and an ambulance took one driver to Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Walla Walla.

1:32 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater resident reported identity theft.

2:55 p.m. - Pendleton police took a report for a burglary on Northeast Third Street.

3:39 p.m. - A woman asked to speak to a Hermiston officer about someone harassing her and her mother.

6:13 p.m. - An Irrigon resident reported she has a restraining order against her ex-husband, but he came to her home earlier and then sent threatening texts.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

Nov. 17 and 18

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol): Tarzziccio Dimitri Mexicano, 23, of Hermiston, and Abraham Saenz Jr., 26.

Monday

•Pendleton police arrested Maria Theresa Simpoo Dillon, 36, of Newberg, for DUII (controlled substance).

•Oregon State Police arrested Nathan Daniel Wilson, 26, for DUII (alcohol).

•Oregon State Police arrested Mike Stone, 50, of Boise, for DUII and cited him for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, having an open container of alcohol and refusing to take an intoxication level test.

Tuesday

•Pendleton police early Tuesday arrested the following at Walmart, 2203 S.W. Court Ave.:

Rogelio Dunez Fernandez, 26, of Hermiston, for second-degree theft, felony methamphetamine possession and on a warrant for misdemeanor failure to appear;

Cecillia Nicole Mitchell, 24, of Hermiston, for second-degree theft;

Guadalupe Rodriguez, 33, of Umatilla, for second-degree theft, giving false information to police, felony methamphetamine possession and on warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines;

and Ricardo Javier Huerta Garcia, 30, of Hermiston for misdemeanor meth possession, giving false information to police, violating probation and contempt of court.
