•A caller at 8:47 a.m. reported someone turned on an outside faucet at a residence on Northwest Center Street, Heppner, and flooded the basement.
•Sometime during the night a vehicle hit the stop sign and phone box at the intersection of Sagebrush Road and Joy Lane, Hermiston. A caller at 10:25 a.m. reported finding a license plate at the scene.
•A caller at 11:25 a.m. reported a resident at Shady Rest Mobile Home Court, 28716 Highway 730, Umatilla, has been stealing power from the main shop and has a power cord routed into an exterior outlet of his neighbor’s home as well.
•Pendleton police at 3:27 p.m. responded to a possible domestic violence call on Southeast 10th Street. An officer heard a second-hand story that a male may have threatened a female with a gun and hit her in the mouth with a pop can. Police contacted the suspect’s parole/probation officer, who issued a detainer so police could take him into custody.
•A Pendleton-area man at 4:22 p.m. reported his wife died this week and her friend stole her jewelry worth $30,000 from a residence on Quill Point, Pendleton.
•A city of Umatilla woman at 4:28 p.m. reported her husband refused to attend his alcohol treatment and instead went out, drank alcohol and then drove home. She also told police she did not want him at their home because it was unsafe for her and her daughter to be there while he is intoxicated. She asked for police to come to the residence.
•A man at 7:02 p.m. reported the theft of his green Honda Civic from Buck’s Corner at Highway 730 and Highway 395 near Umatilla.
•A Pendleton woman at 7:30 p.m. reported her daughter broke into her car on Southeast Second Street and stole multiple items.
•Two drunk women at about 10 p.m. fought in the parking lot of McNary Market & Deli, Umatilla. A 9-1-1 caller said they did not appear to have weapons. Then at 11:12 p.m. a caller reported two females in a Dodge with Oregon plates almost ran over him on Southeast Fourth Street, Hermiston, after he told them to leave his property. He also said they were are intoxicated and they were involved in an altercation earlier at McNary Market.
