A man at about 2 p.m. told a motorcycle rider to put on a helmet and slow down on Hurst Lane, Milton-Freewater. The motorcyclist took his helmet and hit the man with it. The man is a member of Neighborhood Watch and reported the incident. He also said he did not need medical help.
A 49-year-old Hermiston woman suffered non-life threatening injuries a little after 7 p.m. from a motorcycle crash. Oregon State Police reported she was the passenger on the gray Harley Davidson that a 54-year-old man was driving too fast for a northbound curve near milepost 42 on Highway 395. The driver lost control, and the machine and riders slid across a gravel turnout and came to a stop in a ditch. No one else was involved in the crash.
A Milton-Freewater man at 10:09 a.m. reported the theft of a four-wheeler from the area of Northwest First Avenue. The vehicle was found outside the city limits and was significantly damaged.
