TUESDAY

•Three Milton-Freewater residents between 6:18 and 9:05 a.m. told police that items were stolen from their vehicles. One vehicle was in the 1000 block of North Elizabeth Street, tools were taken from another in the 300 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue and a key was taken from the third in the 100 block of Raspberry Loop.

•A 17-month-old girl ingested Comet Cleaner in an apartment in the 1600 block of West Sunland Avenue, Hermiston, a caller told 9-1-1 dispatchers at 7:54 a.m. An ambulance crew responded.

•Pendleton police at 12:24 p.m. received a report that a 5-year-old girl was physically abused.

•A caller told Pendleton police at 1:40 p.m. that a man threatened to kill his girlfriend and kill him. The caller said the man and his girlfriend have a child together.

•A caller with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office at 4:13 p.m. that a mother racoon has been in a trap without food or water for several days at 73334 Tower Road, and her kits are unable to feed from the mother. She also asked that someone from the sheriff’s office call her with a report of findings.

•A 9-1-1 caller told Hermiston dispatch that a woman fell and may have broken her arm across the street from Echo City Hall, 20 S. Bonanza St., Echo.

•Someone egged a Hermiston house in the 600 block of West Madrona Avenue, the resident told police at 8:38 p.m., and then culprits spray painted the inside of his garage.

•A woman told police at 10:04 p.m. her 5-year-old daughter claimed a man inappropriately touched her at a Pendleton residence.

 

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

Tuesday

•A caller at 7:01 a.m. told Pendleton police that a man was “hysterical on the levee” at Southwest Third Street. The caller said the man broke a bat and kicked a sign. A female was there also, the caller said, and when he asked of she was OK, the man yelled at him to leave, Police arrived and arrested Philip Joe Martinez, 48, no address provided, for second-degree disorderly conduct and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

•Stanfield police cited Trenton D. Fife, 47, no address provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, speeding and having an open container.
