PORTLAND - Rick Currin, 63, died Nov. 23, 2007 at Providence Medical Center in Portland. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Milton-Freewater.
Mr. Currin was born on March 27, 1944 in Portland to Rick and Alice Crosley Currin. He graduated from Klamath High School and the University of Oregon, and remained an avid Ducks fan until his death. After graduating from college he traveled extensively through Europe and the United States. His travels brought him to his life-long career with Horizon Project Inc., helping people with developmental disabilities. He spent the remaining years of his life as an active community member in Eastern Oregon.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Lindstrom; sons, Abe and Ben; three sisters; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
