PENDLETON - Ryan Stuart Bowe, deputy district attorney for the city of Pendleton, died Tuesday July 24, 2007. He was 30.

Visitation will be held at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Vert, 500 S.W. Dorion Ave. in Pendleton. On Sunday, a celebration of life service will be held in Hood River at 2 p.m. at the Hood River Golf Course, 1850 Country Club Road.

Mr. Bowe was born Feb. 5, 1977, in Hood River, to Vicki Bebb and Larry Bowe. He graduated from Hood River Valley High School in 1995, where he was senior class president, played tennis, ran cross country and specialized in freestyle walking.

He double-majored in political science and economics at Washington & Lee University where he ran cross country, track and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, graduating in 1999. He received his juris doctor degree from the University of Oregon in 2002.

Mr. Bowe enjoyed spending time with his wife, Ryndi, working on his home, riding his motorcycle, running, being with his family and preparing for the birth of his son.

He is survived by his wife; parents; brother Travis Bowe, his soon-to-be-son, Ryan Parker Stuart Bowe; and countless others.

Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for Ryan and Ryndi's baby to: The Bowe Family Fund, Bank of America, Pendleton Branch 301 S. Main St., Pendleton, OR 97801.

Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.
