As of 8 a.m. today, there were 146 inmates in the Umatilla County Jail.

Police booked at least 21 people in the jail since Friday morning.

Today's total also includes 12 Morrow County inmates (one 

since Friday morning) and  three  inmates from the

Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

Also, there are 21 female inmates and 125 male inmates in the jail.

a.m. today: (Some inmates have multiple arrests.)

?Inmates with drug-related arrests: 18

?Inmates with arrests related to driving under the influence of

intoxicants: 15

?Inmates with assault arrests, including for domestic violence: 21

?Inmates with arrests for theft or robbery, including for ID or vehicle

theft: 25

?Inmates with arrests for failing to appear: 21

?Inmates with arrests for failure to pay fines: 11

?Inmates with arrests for rape or sexual abuse: 13

?Inmates with arrests for murder or manslaughter: 2

?Inmates with U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service holds: 8

?Fugitives from another state: 8

?And there are 22 inmates in the jail for parole violations and 42 for

probation violations.
