As of 8 a.m. today, there were 136 inmates in the Umatilla County Jail. Police booked at least 24 people in the jail since Friday morning.

Today's total also includes 10 Morrow County inmates and five inmates from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

Also, there are 25 female inmates and 111 male inmates in the jail.

Arrest totals as of 8 a.m. today: (Some inmates have multiple arrests.)

•Inmates with drug-related arrests: 19 

•Inmates with arrests related to driving under the influence of intoxicants: 8 

•Inmates with assault arrests, including for domestic violence: 18

•Inmates with arrests for theft or robbery, including for ID or vehicle theft: 18

•Inmates with arrests for failing to appear: 23

•Inmates with arrests for failure to pay fines: 5 

•Inmates with arrests for rape or sexual abuse: 11

•Inmates with arrests for murder or manslaughter: 2 

•Inmates with U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service holds: 9 

•Fugitives from another state: 6 

•And there are 13 inmates in the jail for parole violations and 29 for probation violations.
