MILTON-FREEWATER - The funeral service for Zena M. Stephens Price of Milton-Freewater will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home in Milton-Freewater. Private interment will be in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.

Mrs. Price, 93, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at the Evergreen Rehabilitation and Retirement Center in Milton-Freewater.

Mrs. Price was born Dec. 5, 1909, in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. the daughter of Charles and Edith Warner Girton. She grew up and was raised in Pilot Rock. She attended Byrd School on Birch Creek. After her schooling, she raised her family in Milton-Freewater.

Mrs. Price worked for the Hi-Way Drug Store for 15 years in Milton-Freewater before moving to California. On July 16, 1977, she married Donald E. Price in Lebanon. The couple lived in Oroville, Calif., for 20 years. Her husband died in 1999 and she later returned to Milton-Freewater to be near family. She was a life member of the First Baptist Church in Milton-Freewater.

She is survived by 3 sons, Lee of Milton-Freewater, Wayne of Pendleton and Wesley of Redmond, Wash.; a daughter, Pauline Edinger of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
