ARLINGTON - Jeremy Rosenbalm scored 28 points as the Arlington Honkers remained undefeated in Big Sky Conference boys basketball, beating the Condon Blue Devils 60-37 Saturday.
"I think this is the first time we've beat them in 15 years or so," Arlington coach Shawn Troutman said.
The Honkers (17-1, 9-0 Big Sky) took a 14-10 first-quarter lead and built it to 27-16 by halftime in winning their 17th straight game since opening the season with a loss to Spray.
In the second half, the Blue Devils (8-11, 4-5 Big Sky) were outscored 33-21 and never threatened.
The Blue Devils had only 12 field goals, five of them being 3-pointers. Riley Anderson led Condon with eight points.
"It was one of those games where we controlled the game from the first quarter on," Troutman said. "The whole unit did a great job."
The high-scoring Rosenbalm also contributed three assists and had eight steals. Teammate Lukas Welker pulled down 11 rebounds and had three assists to go with his eight points.
"It was a good team win," Troutman said. "The kids played very well defensively."
The Honkers travel to Big Sky rival Dufur Tuesday.
