CALDWELL, Idaho - The Blue Mountain Community College Timberwolves softball team dropped a pair of games to Albertson's College of Idaho Saturday.

"We never showed up," Timberwolves coach Todd Bradley said. "We were never there to compete or win a softball game."

The Timberwolves fell 5-1 in the first game as Albertson's broke a tie game with two runs in the fifth and added two more in the sixth inning. Sherry Lewis and Kristen White had doubles for BMCC in the game.

Katie Manley took the loss for the Timberwolves, dropping her season record to 1-1.

Albertson's erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning of the nightcap to take a 7-0 decision in a game that saw BMCC get just two base hits, while committing four errors.

The Timberwolves' record drops to 1-3 on the season.

"The team needs to pick it up this week," Bradley said.

BMCC men rained out

The Timberwolves baseball team had a doubleheader against Grays Harbor rained out Saturday. The team will return to action Friday when it competes in the Columbia Basin College Tournament in Pasco.
