PENDLETON?— More than 50 basketball teams grades 5-8 have swarmed Pendleton this weekend for the Border Clash AAU Tournament.

Games began Friday at eight area gyms and the championships will be held today in 6th-8th grade girls and 5th-8th grade boys divisions.

The 5th grade boys will play at 1 p.m. at the Pendleton Recreation Center.

The 6th grade girls will play at 2:15 at Pendleton High’s Green Gym, followed by the boys at 3:30 p.m.

The 7th grade girls will play at noon at Pendleton Convention Center, the boys will play at 1:30 p.m., the 8th grade girls will play at 3 p.m. and the boys will be at 4:30 p.m.

Other games will be played Sunday at Sunridge Middle School, Blue Mountain Community College and Roundup Athletic Club.
