UNION?- The Echo boys' golf team placed fourth out of 12 teams in the Union Tournament at Buffalo Peak Golf Course Friday. The Cougars were the top placing Oregon team as Idaho's Weiser (329), Payette (330) and Fruitland (339)?took the top three spots. Echo had a 345 and Enterprise shot 351 to round out the top five.

Colter McCallum led the Cougars in a tie for fourth place with his six over-par 78. Jacob Eby tied a host of other golfers with the next lowest round at 80 strokes.

Chase Erwert shot a career-best 81, as did freshman Treve Moffit at 106 to round out the team score.

Coach Weeb Williams said the seniors have taken control of their season and continue to play like a season group with high expectations.
