THE 14TH ANNUAL TRI-CITIES SPORTSMEN SHOW OPENS JAN. 19 at the TRAC Center in Pasco and runs through Jan. 21. The TRAC Center will be filled the latest in outdoor equipment, David Morris' latest Northwest big game display, a kids' fishing pond and free air rifle range, free hourly hunting and fishing seminars, retriever demonstrations, a fly casting pool, a 3-D archery shoot and an outdoor cooking camp hosted by TV personality C.W. "Butch" Welch.

Admission is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 6-12. Parking is free.


THE 2007 HERMISTON YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP WILL BE HELD JAN. 20 AND 21 in the Hermiston High School gymnasiums. The event is sponsored by Wal-Mart and is open to players 8 years old through the eighth grade.

Players can register by picking up a camp brochure at any Hermiston elementary or middle school.
