PENDLETON

MONICA HOFFMAN, an All-American and four-time Pacific-10 softball player of the week for Oregon State, will serve as an instructor for a softball clinic to be held at the McCrae Activity Center of Blue Mountain Community College Feb. 10-11.

The camp is broken into four sessions: advanced pitchers, 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 10; beginning pitchers, 1-3 p.m. Feb. 10; hitting and defensive fundamentals for beginning to intermediate players, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Feb. 11; and hitting and defensive fundamentals for advanced players, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Feb. 11.

Pre-registration is $30 for beginning players and $35 for advanced players. Registration at the door is $35 for beginners and $40 for advanced players.

Pendleton Little League softball and baseball sign-ups will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Sunridge Middle School.

People can also register at the same time on Tuesday and Feb. 8. The final day for registration will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 10.

Little League will need a copy of the birth certificates of all children new to the league. Parents also will be asked to sign a medical release and a parental code of conduct. Any adults interested in coaching or officiating can get information during the registration days.

MILTON-FREEWATER

MILTON-FREEWATER LITTLE LEAGUE will conduct registration for the 2007 season from 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 and from 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 13 at Christ the King Lutheran Church (Kings Kids Preschool), 325 S.W. Sixth Ave.

Children ages 5-12 who live within the Milton-Freewater School District are eligible to enroll. Registration is required even if the child played previously.

The early-registration fee of $45 must be paid in full by March 1. After that date, registration is $50. The T-ball registration fee is $35.

At least one parent or legal guardian must be present with proof of residence and an original or state-certified copy of the child's birth certificate. The documents will be inspected and returned at registration. Call Lance Bullock at 938-4565 or Tina Kain at 938-7762 for more information.

PILOT ROCK

PILOT ROCK LITTLE LEAGUE will have registration for boys ages 4-12 and girls 4-14 from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 7 and 28 at Pilot Rock Elementary School's cafeteria.

Parents need to bring a copy of their child's state-certified birth certificate (hospital records cannot be accepted). The cost for a single child is $30 and $10 for each additional child in the household.
