MADRAS - Seven different Buckaroos scored as Pendleton blanked Madras 55-0 in nonconference football action Friday.
Jake Talbot threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns and Travis Jones had 80 yards and two touchdowns on seven rushes for the Bucks (5-3).
"We scored on our first offensive play and then let our defense take over," Pendleton offensive coordinator Steve Utter said.
The Bucks had a total of 278 yards rushing, including touchdowns by Jones of 20 yards in the second quarter and a six yard scamper in the third.
Levin Fox broke off a 16-yard scoring run to open the second quarter and Wyatt Taylor had a 12-yard score late in the second.
Talbot's scoring tosses went to Devon Polhamus, who caught a 61-yard pass for the game's first score, and a 15-yarder to Josh Ernst late in the opening quarter.
Dannon Baker caught Talbot's final touchdown pass, hauling in a 30-yard bomb in the second quarter.
The Bucks finish conference play Friday at Hermiston. Pendleton can clinch a playoff berth with a win or a Summit loss to Bend.
The?Bucks also have a chance to replace Hermiston in the second place spot, which earns a bye week and a home playoff game.
