The Pendleton Bucks will open post-season play Tuesday in an OSAA/US Bank/Les Schwab Tires 4A Girls Basketball State Championship sub-tournament game against Forest Grove at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Warberg Court at Pendleton High School.

The Bucks finished in a tie with Hermiston for second place in the Intermountain Conference, but lost a coin flip and will enter the sub-tournament as the IMC No. 3 team.

Hermiston will play a sub-tournament game at 7 p.m. Saturday at Hermiston against the winner of a game Thursday between Thurston and Lincoln.

If the Bucks win Tuesday, they will travel to Sandy for a game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner of that game will face Willamette in a final sub-tournament game Saturday.

Saturday's winners in the subtournament will advance to the state tournament at the Chiles Center in Portland next week.
