The temperature's getting warmer and school's almost out for the summer break.

Soon, it'll be time to break out those fishing rods and rifles and have some lures and bullets on you. Or if just taking in the wonderful scenery of Eastern Oregon is your thing, you'll have to be prepared with a camera and some film or a digital card.

For many of you, it won't be the first time you've had this experience. You may have a few great stories to tell about that amazing hunt in the woods or big catch out on the lake. Maybe you saw the most gorgeous wild animal on a beautiful mountain.

Is it hard to put in words? There's nothing like a great photo to go along with a great story.

The EO sports department invites you to share your outdoors memories with us for the weekly Your EO Youth Sports page. Simply e-mail your story and/or photo to, and leave your name and phone number on the body of the e-mail. Or, you can mail it to East Oregonian Sports Department, P.O. Box 1089, Pendleton, OR 97801.

Get out there and have some fun ... and tell us about it in words or pictures.
