PASCO, Wash. — A pair of very different games ended in identical results on Friday for the Blue Mountain Community College softball team. Columbia Basic College came out victorious on both ends of a doubleheader.

The Timberwolves (12-22, 6-18 NWAACC-E) were slugged 15-4 in the first game, hurting their own case with seven errors. Blue Mountain pitcher Megan Alexander was clubbed in the CBC (12-27, 6-18 NWAACC-E) offensive explosion.

Game 2 can be filed into the pitching duel category as Jordan Bennett came out on the losing end of a 3-1 decision. The Timberwolves managed to back her with just two hits.

Cheyenne Friend provided the best offensive spark, hitting a home run in the first game.
