EUGENE — The University of Oregon men’s basketball team (4-1) will take on No. 1 Duke (5-0) Saturday in a neutral-site game played at Rose Garden Arena in Portland.

Tip-time for the Ducks-Blue Devils contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. This year’s contest marks the first meeting between the two schools.

Oregon has opened the season with wins in four of the first five contests, including a 23-point win over Texas Southern on Tuesday night. Duke has won all five of its games this season, out-scoring opponents by a total of 142 points (450-308; 90.0 ppg- 61.6 ppg).

Due to Saturday’s Washington-California football game, Fox Sports Northwest will split the live coverage in the region with the Duke-Oregon men’s basketball game. Viewers in Oregon will see the basketball game live on FSNW, while those in the rest of FSNW’s region will see the UW-Cal game.

Oregon is 3-23 all time against top-ranked opponents.
