REDMOND - The Hermiston swim team finished sixth of six squads in both boys and girls competitions Saturday at the Redmond meet, but coach Chelle Hankinson said despite the low numbers, the day had some high points.

"Even though the results on paper don't exactly show the best result, I'm pleased with our team and it's performance," she said.

Freshman Taylor Goodwin cut his times to 2:30.56 in the 200 meter intermediate medley for a second-place finish and 1:17.17 in the 100 meter breast stroke for third place, while Jordan Bert took first in the 50 meter freestyle at 26.95 seconds.

Stephanie Hull led the girls with a 6:28.50 performance in the 400 meter freestyle, good enough for an eighth place finish.
