PORTLAND — The No. 18 Eastern Oregon University men’s basketball team broke a Cascade Collegiate Conference scoring record in a 146-63 win at Multnomah University last Saturday, Oct. 30.

Eastern (2-0) broke the conference record for most points scored by a team in a single game, previously held by Northwest University with 136 points last season against Multnomah. The Mountaineers’ 77 rebounds were the third highest in a single game in conference history.

EOU’s Jamar Johnson led all scorers with 22 points and seven Mounties finished in double digits scoring. The junior was 8-for-12 from the field. JC Cook added 19 points while Thomas McCarthy had 18 points.

EOU welcomes Montana Tech, Walla Walla University and The College of Idaho to the Aramark Quinn Classic this weekend in La Grande.
