HEPPNER?— Heppner Mustangs pitcher Baily Bennett earned another post-season award this week with her selection as an All-American on maxpreps.com.

The CBS-owned website put Bennett on the second team of its 2012 Small Schools All-American Softball Team.

She was listed as a utility player after a season in which she pitched for a state title and a 23-4 record with 193 strikeouts. She batted for a .413 average with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs.

Bennett also was the OSAA Class 2A/1A Player of the Year and the East Oregonian Player of the Year.
